We recently handled two Mitzvah’s at the newly renovated Mulholland Tennis Club and both events went great. One was for a cool skater dude named Danny and the other one was for the fun spitfire Sasha. The club itself can be hard to find because it sits near the top of Laurel Canyon on Mulholland Drive, but that’s a plus. It has one of the best views of Los Angeles and the Valley, from its giant glass windows right next to the dance floor. If you’re looking for a location that doesn’t have that tired boring ballroom feel, check out this location and speak to Meagan about all the details. I love the huge dance floor that is right next to the cool sunken bar. This setup keeps your party happening near the dance floor at all times, perfect for any Mulholland Tennis Club Los Angeles DJ.
Danny’s awesome party was filled with the energy that only athletic teenage youths can bring to a rocket-fueled event. My single mom, Allison Stein from Santa Monica, knocked it out of the park with how she handled the whole exhausting day. Here is a tiny slice of that evening.
Hannah Katz had her Bat Mitzvah at the Celebrations Room in Costa Mesa, which is under the Turnip Rose Umbrella, and it was a very magical afternoon. If you haven’t had a chance to check out this location yet please go see it and talk to Chrissy Sherbanee who is the Director of Special Events, and if your short on time watch the video, because I was trying to capture every angle possible. Chrissy and her staff are amazing and the effort they make will create a really smooth event. The Tasty Sounds crew are always on top of it, but these guys take it to the next level, (in a good way). Also on the party was one of our favorite Photographers Ron Levy, who always makes our day much easier. Go check out his website, and yes he’s in Orange County, but all my Los Angeles people should be checking him out, he’s that good. And finally Hannah & the whole Katz gang, what a great family. Hannah is like a young Selena Gomez, very poised throughout the whole day, not a misstep (even in 7 inch heels). Mazel Tov to everyone involved, including one of my new DJ’s, Franciswho recently moved here from Hawaii (an amazing battle/Scratch DJ) who got to participate in his very first Mitzvah. Now go watch the VIDEO!!!!
Well It was over a year ago, but we finally put together some highlights of Marissa’s special event!! It was a beautiful day at the Hills Hotelin Laguna CA. We were honored this was our 2nd Collins mitzvah. It was awesome to see so many familiar faces (shout out to the Shoeberg family). DJ Kevin was backing me up spinning the tunes. The Mummy Wrap game is featured in this video. It’s always great to get some of the parents involved. I think they were having more fun with it than the kids! We had an amazing afternoon with the Collins family once again. -DJ Brian

We are very lucky to have such truly giving clients who really love what we are doing for their families and are willing to tell the whole world all about it. Being an MC or DJ in Southern California for over 20 years is the easy part of my job; convincing a family that doesn’t know what my company can do and to TRUST us not to mess it up, that is the WORK. Maybe this video will make my job a little easier.
